Wyndham Hotels & Resorts announced on November 2, 2026, a strategic partnership with HotelREZ Hotels & Resorts that will add more than 40 independent luxury hotels from HotelREZ’s Elegant Hotels of the World portfolio to Wyndham’s Registry Collection Hotels brand by early 2027.

Global Scale and Portfolio Expansion

Wyndham operates roughly 8,500 hotels across about 100 countries, including 25 hotel brands, with a global loyalty program boasting approximately 129 million enrolled members. HotelREZ manages Elegant Hotels of the World, a curated portfolio of more than 300 independent luxury and design-led hotels, and a network of over 1,500 GDS-enabled independent and upscale properties globally. The partnership

will broaden Wyndham’s Registry Collection, which currently includes more than 30 hotels in nine countries, with a targeted expansion in the Asia-Pacific region. Registry Collection Hotels include properties in destinations such as Panama City, St. John Antigua, and Miami.

Benefits for Independent Luxury Hotels

Participating hotels will retain membership in HotelREZ’s Elegant Hotels of the World while joining Wyndham Rewards, enabling access to Wyndham’s 129 million-member loyalty program. This partnership allows independent hotels to maintain operational independence and their unique identities while leveraging Wyndham’s sales, marketing, technology, and distribution platforms. Under the agreement, HotelREZ’s Best Loved Hotels collection gains selective access to Wyndham’s technology and

distribution capabilities, enhancing commercial opportunities for independent properties worldwide.

Strategic Intent and Partnership Value

The collaboration aims to leverage Wyndham’s global scale, loyalty program, and commercial technology alongside HotelREZ’s owner relationships and experience to help independent hotels compete globally while preserving individuality. Scott Strickland, Chief Commercial Officer of Wyndham Hotels & Resorts, said the partnership expands Wyndham Rewards members’ options for luxury stays worldwide. A HotelREZ representative stated the joint effort unlocks commercial opportunities for member hotels by connecting them with one of the world’s largest hotel ecosystems backed by Wyndham’s rapidly growing loyalty program.

Technological Innovations Supporting Growth

Wyndham is the first major hotel company to operate on

a fully cloud-based technology platform incorporating AI-powered solutions like Wyndham Connect and Wyndham AI Concierge. The company integrates AI platforms such as Claude, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini to enhance guest services, marketing, distribution, and demand generation. This technology foundation supports the partnership by offering participating hotels improved commercial advantages and a stronger market presence.
