ZIPAIR runs nonstop charter flights connecting Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT), starting with its initial flight arrival in Orlando on February 23, 2026. The airline plans to operate four round-trip charter flights on specific dates in February and March 2027, pending government approval.

ZIPAIR Flight Schedule, Duration, and Ticket Sales

The flights depart Tokyo Narita in the morning and arrive in Orlando the same morning local time, while return trips leave Orlando in the morning to reach Narita the following afternoon. ZIPAIR estimates a nonstop flight duration of approximately 14 hours, a reduction from the 18-plus hours common on connecting itineraries. Standalone

tickets for these charter flights are expected to be available for purchase through ZIPAIR’s website starting in late November 2026.

Vacation Packages from Japanese Travel Agencies

Japanese travel agencies H.I.S., JTB, and Jalpak offer vacation packages tied to the ZIPAIR charter flights. These packages include Walt Disney World Resort park tickets, Disney-owned hotel stays in Florida, and airport transfers as part of the itineraries. Travelers seeking these bundled offers can coordinate directly with these agencies.

First Nonstop Passenger Link Between Florida and Asia-Pacific

The inaugural ZIPAIR charter flight to Orlando on February 23, 2026, established the first nonstop passenger air service between Florida and the Asia-Pacific region. Lance Lyttle, CEO of the Greater Orlando

Aviation Authority, said, “The excitement surrounding ZIPAIR’s first flights exceeded expectations and sent a clear message that travelers want this connection.” The authority hopes the charter operation can eventually evolve into regular scheduled flights, although no permanent daily service is currently announced.

Travel Advisories and Route Background

Since ZIPAIR operates on a charter basis, travelers must plan trips specifically around the available flight dates. Booking nonrefundable hotels or theme park tickets before securing flight confirmation is discouraged. Traditionally, flights between Orlando’s Walt Disney World Resort and Tokyo Disney Resort required at least one connecting flight, adding travel time and complexity. ZIPAIR’s nonstop service offers a

more direct option for theme park visitors traveling between Japan and Florida.
