ZIPAIR operates four nonstop charter flights between Orlando International Airport (MCO) and Tokyo Narita International Airport (NRT) scheduled for February and March 2027. These are the first nonstop passenger flights connecting Florida directly with the Asia-Pacific region.

Flight Schedules and Operational Details

The nonstop flights offer approximately 14 hours of travel time, significantly shorter than connecting flights that require at least 18 hours. Departures from Narita are planned for mornings and arrive in Orlando the same morning local time. Return flights depart Orlando in the morning, arriving at Narita the following afternoon. All flights are government-approved charters and do not constitute a regular daily service.

Ticket Sales and Vacation Packages

ZIPAIR will make standalone tickets available on its website starting in late November 2026. In addition, Japanese travel agencies H.I.S., JTB, and Jalpak are offering vacation packages combining these flights with Walt Disney World park tickets, hotel accommodations, and transfers. Due to the limited charter schedule, travelers are advised to confirm flight bookings before purchasing nonrefundable hotel or park tickets.

Official Remarks on Traveler Demand

Lance Lyttle, CEO of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, commented on the strong traveler interest, stating, “The excitement surrounding ZIPAIR’s first flights exceeded expectations and sent a clear message that travelers want this connection.” The Greater Orlando Aviation Authority highlights

the robust demand for direct air service between Orlando and the Asia-Pacific region.

Traveler Impact and Context

These nonstop charters provide a more direct and faster travel option between the two key Disney theme park destinations of Orlando and Tokyo than previous routes requiring connections. The service enables easier planning for trips combining Florida’s Walt Disney World Resort with Japan’s Tokyo Disney Resort. Although currently limited to four round trips over two months, the flights offer a unique opportunity for visitors traveling in both directions to bypass connecting flights.

ZIPAIR’s first nonstop charter flight arrived in Orlando on February 23, 2026, marking the inaugural

nonstop link between Florida and the Asia-Pacific zone. This initiative responds directly to traveler demand for streamlined travel options between these significant Disney vacation markets.
