Flair Airlines announced on October 15, 2026, that it will start nonstop flights between Edmonton International Airport (YEG) and Saint John Airport (YSJ) beginning June 15, 2027. Tickets are on sale now with introductory fares starting at $199 CAD one way.

New twice-weekly service connects Edmonton and Saint John

Flight service will operate twice weekly between Edmonton, Alberta, and Saint John, New Brunswick. This marks the first-ever nonstop commercial air service between the two cities, eliminating the prior need for passengers to connect through Toronto.

Benefits and industry perspectives

Flair Airlines CEO Len Corrado said, “We’re proud to be the first airline to connect Edmonton and Saint John nonstop, bringing two great

Canadian cities closer together.” Court Edeburn, President and CEO of Saint John Airport, stated, “Direct access to Edmonton opens new opportunities for tourism, business and families travelling between Atlantic and Western Canada.” Saint John ranks as one of Edmonton’s largest Atlantic Canada air travel markets.

Tourism opportunities at both endpoints

Albertans gain direct access to Saint John as a starting point for exploring the Bay of Fundy, historic coastal communities, and southern New Brunswick. Visitors to Edmonton can access events such as the city’s festivals, the river valley, and the Canadian Rockies.
