Ryanair and easyJet have introduced new flight routes from multiple UK airports for the summer 2027 season, expanding connections between UK cities and popular European holiday destinations.

easyJet Expands Service from 10 UK Airports

easyJet has launched 18 new routes across 10 UK airports to destinations in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Montenegro, and Bulgaria. Among these, six new routes will serve Spain, including Girona for the first time. easyJet will start a Liverpool to Girona route on 28 March 2027, operating twice weekly on Wednesdays and Sundays, and a London Gatwick to Girona route on 3 June 2027 with thrice-weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and

Sundays.

The airline has also introduced a Liverpool to Murcia route and will launch a London Gatwick to Ajaccio service. These additions increase low-cost travel options from these hubs ahead of the summer season.

Additional EasyJet and Ryanair Route Additions

easyJet has commenced six new routes from Scottish airports, including a first-ever service between Aberdeen and Barcelona. easyJet remains the sole carrier operating routes such as Birmingham to Milan, Liverpool to Murcia, London Gatwick to Ajaccio, and Bristol to Montpellier.

Ryanair has enhanced its summer 2027 schedule by increasing return flights to Leeds Bradford airport with new routes from Budapest, Corfu, and Malaga. Meanwhile, Ryanair will

also run flights from Birmingham to Wroclaw and East Midlands to Gdansk, extending connections to Eastern European destinations.

These route expansions open up more travel options for UK passengers starting summer 2027, reflecting the airlines’ efforts to boost connections between secondary UK airports and popular European locations.
