Dubai’s luxury hotels are responding to continued weak international demand caused by the U.S.-Iran war in 2026 by preserving published room rates rather than lowering them.
Some properties, including Atlantis Dubai, are introducing value-added guest incentives and resident-only offers to attract bookings without compromising price integrity.
Atlantis Dubai’s Strategy to Retain Rate Integrity
Atlantis Dubai has upheld its rate structure while providing UAE residents with additional benefits to encourage longer stays in 2026. These include resort credit, complimentary upgrades, and other perks available when guests stay a specified number of nights, stated Kyp Charalambous, Vice President of Sales at Atlantis Dubai.
Charalambous told Skift, “Atlantis Dubai has
maintained its rate integrity throughout, while continuing to introduce offers, as it has done historically. What we’ve done is provide UAE residents added value incentives, including resort credit, complimentary upgrades and other benefits when they stay for a certain number of nights, while continuing to protect rate integrity.”
Guest Benefits at Atlantis The Royal and Regional Impact
Guests at Atlantis The Royal have received complimentary dining credit along with free access to Aquaventure World, the waterpark at Atlantis The Palm, and The Lost World Aquarium, according to reports from UAE residents in 2026.
Dubai’s luxury hotel sector at large is employing such enhanced guest perks to balance the challenges
of filling rooms and protecting revenue without reducing nightly rates during this period.
