Accor announced in September 2026 that its Ink 48 hotel in New York City will become the first U.S. flagship for the MGallery Collection, with the transition scheduled for 2028. The hotel is located in Hell’s Kitchen along the Hudson River.
Details of Ink 48 Hotel and Ownership
Ink 48 comprises 222 rooms and suites. It features the rooftop bar Hudson Vu, known for panoramic views of New York City landmarks. The hotel is jointly owned by Capstone Equities from New York and Leyad from Montreal. Rebel Hotel Company manages operations.
Timeline and Renovation Plans
The hotel will continue operating independently while undergoing an extensive renovation and enhancement program. Accor aims
to elevate the guest experience while maintaining the hotel’s distinctive character. This move aligns with Accor’s broader plan to grow its MGallery boutique luxury portfolio across North America.
Accor’s Strategic Intent and Executive Statements
Maud Bailly, CEO of Sofitel Legends, Sofitel, MGallery, and Emblems within Accor, described New York City as one of the world’s most influential travel destinations.
