The Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel officially opened on September 7, 2026, in Manchester, UK. Situated at the centre of Medlock Square, the 401-room upper-upscale hotel marks the first hotel development by Manchester City Football Club in partnership with Radisson Hotel Group.

The hotel is adjacent to the Etihad Stadium and Co-op Live arena within Manchester’s Etihad Campus, offering direct accessibility to major sporting and entertainment venues. A nearby Metrolink stop provides guests with a 10-minute public transport connection to Manchester city centre, which also lies approximately five minutes away by car. Manchester Airport is located about 20 minutes by car

or 40 minutes via public transportation from the hotel.

Accommodation at Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel includes standard, premium, and deluxe rooms, alongside unique pitch view rooms that convert into hospitality suites on matchdays. The property also offers one-bedroom suites and a two-storey penthouse spanning 153 square meters with a 25-square-meter private terrace and a dedicated private arrival experience. The penthouse can hold private events for up to 50 guests.

The hotel features diverse dining venues such as Three Rivers Brasserie & Bar for all-day dining, Blend Café Bar for light meals and coffee, and Little Beast Restaurant. Upcoming openings in

autumn 2026 include Brickworks Market Hall and Zadie’s Sky Bar, which will provide Pan-Asian cuisine and panoramic views of the Etihad Campus and Manchester skyline. Wellness facilities include a 24-hour fitness suite equipped with virtual personal training technology. Event spaces across Medlock Square and the wider Etihad Campus offer over 30 flexible venues, including an outdoor activation space with a 3,000-guest capacity.

According to Franchise Tv, Radisson Hotel Group’s Chief Operating Officer for Franchise EMEA emphasized the hotel as a significant addition to Manchester’s hospitality landscape. The General Manager of Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel highlighted the team’s efforts in launching

the property and its role in delivering a distinctive Manchester experience.

The hotel’s design is inspired by Manchester’s industrial history and contemporary culture, reflected through its use of warm materials and locally influenced design elements. Medlock Square, where the hotel is located, is Manchester City Football Club’s flagship development in the area and will incorporate restaurants, bars, cafés, an immersive Manchester City museum, a stadium roof walk, zip-wire, as well as a 3,000-capacity covered events space that will host live shows and sports screenings.

Manchester is recognized as one of Europe’s fastest-growing destinations, notable for its music, football, culture, and

business events. Radisson Hotel Group operates over 1,600 hotels globally and positions Radisson Blu as its upper upscale brand, offering stylish accommodations with a focus on service. The launch of Radisson Blu Medlock Hotel expands the group’s presence in the UK while catering to leisure, corporate, and event travelers visiting Manchester.
