Wizz Air announced it will launch a new direct air route connecting Varna Airport in Bulgaria and Yerevan, the capital of Armenia, beginning June 6, 2027. The service will operate twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, enhancing travel options between Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast and the Caucasus region.

The twice-weekly flights will use Wizz Air’s existing operational framework, with tickets available now on the airline’s website and mobile app. Introductory one-way fares start at €29.99, including the administrative fee and allowance for a small cabin bag up to 40x30x20 centimeters. Additional fees apply for checked and wheeled luggage.

Yerevan, Armenia’s
capital, stands at the foot of Mount Ararat and is among the oldest continuously inhabited cities worldwide.
