Rixos will open its first all-inclusive resort in Thailand, named Rixos Water World Phuket, in early 2028 after an extensive renovation. The resort is situated on the shores of Mai Khao beach in Phuket’s Thalang District and is managed by Ennismore in partnership with Central Group Capital, the fund management arm of Thailand’s Central Group.

Resort Size and Core Features

The resort will comprise over 600 guestrooms and villas, along with five distinctive food and beverage venues. A landmark feature will be an integrated waterpark designed as a central attraction for guests. Located within easy reach of Patong Beach, Bang Tao Beach, and Old Phuket

Town, the property aims to become one of Phuket’s largest hospitality complexes.

Amenities and Guest Offerings

Rixos Water World Phuket will offer extensive experiential and entertainment options including a globally recognized Kids Club and a Teens Club. The resort will also have an Exclusive Sports Club featuring a fully equipped indoor gym, group class space, an outdoor jungle gym, and multiple sports courts. Dining options will span international and regional cuisines such as Thai, Asian, Italian, and Latin American, presented through all-day dining, specialty restaurants, poolside snacks, and various bars and lounges.

Market Context and Brand Expansion

The opening of this resort represents Rixos’ strategic expansion in Asia, complementing

another all-inclusive property set to open in Phu Quoc, Vietnam in late 2026. Ennismore manages over 70 all-inclusive resorts worldwide with more than 30,000 rooms under its ALL Inclusive Collection, which includes brands like SO/, Hyde, SLS, and Swissôtel. Phuket’s status as a well-established tourism destination aligns with Ennismore’s growth focus in the luxury all-inclusive segment.

Executive Statements

Soravit Chairoj, Managing Partner and Co-Head of Central Group Capital, said, “We believe Phuket remains one of Asia’s most compelling long-term tourism and hospitality markets. Rixos Water World Phuket will introduce a differentiated all-inclusive concept to Thailand and broaden the island’s appeal to families

and international travellers seeking experience-led resorts.” According to François Baudin, Chief Business Officer for Rixos and the ALL Inclusive Collection, the launch marks an important expansion of the brand’s experience-led all-inclusive offerings in Asia.
