
Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Tourism has partnered with WTM Spotlight Riyadh as the strategic partner for its inaugural edition. The event is focused on connecting international tourism businesses with Saudi Arabia and providing Saudi companies access to global markets.
WTM Spotlight Riyadh will take place from September 8 to 10, 2026, at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center (RFECC). It will bring together tourism authorities, destinations, hospitality companies, airlines, travel technology firms, investors, buyers, and industry leaders to foster business ties between Saudi Arabia and global markets.
Saudi Arabia’s Tourism Targets Under Vision 2030
Tourism is a key part of Saudi Arabia’s economic diversification strategy under
Vision 2030, aiming for tourism to contribute 10% of GDP by the end of the decade. The kingdom targets attracting 150 million domestic and international visitors annually and recent Ministry of Tourism figures show growth in visitor numbers and tourism spending.
WTM Spotlight Riyadh as a B2B2C Tourism Platform
The three-day B2B2C event will cover the broader travel and tourism ecosystem. It focuses on attracting international exhibitors, travel executives, and hosted buyers, offering direct access to Saudi Arabia’s expanding tourism market, acknowledging the Kingdom as both an inbound and outbound travel market.
