Royal Caribbean has announced a change in its Alaska cruise itineraries for the 2026 season involving its ship, Ovation of the Seas. Passengers will no longer disembark in Seward but will instead conclude their voyage at the port of Whittier. This modification is prompted by ongoing construction delays at the Seward cruise terminal.
Changes Affect Passenger Departure Points
The shift of debarkation to Whittier is the direct result of operational and infrastructural setbacks at the Seward cruise terminal. Travelers once planning to leave the ship at Seward will need to adjust their post-cruise arrangements accordingly, as the port of disembarkation will now be Whittier for
the affected 2026 Alaska voyages.
