Royal Caribbean International has canceled all scheduled 2027 sailings of its ships Navigator of the Seas and Ovation of the Seas to support an expanded Asia-Pacific cruise programme.
Previous Routes and New Deployments
The canceled voyages were set to depart from Los Angeles with port calls along the Mexican coast. Instead, Navigator of the Seas will operate year-round in the Asia-Pacific region from October 2026 through October 2027. Ovation of the Seas is being repositioned to Brisbane to strengthen Royal Caribbean’s presence in Australia, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan.
Operational Planning and Passenger Communications
Royal Caribbean stated that the itinerary cancellations are part of regular operational adjustments necessary to meet
scheduling requirements, port agreements, and other considerations. The cruise line has directly contacted affected guests and travel partners to inform them of the cancellations and to offer alternative arrangements or refunds.
