Allegiant Airlines will start nonstop flights from Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) to Orlando International Airport on February 12, 2027. One-way fares for the new route begin at $49, offering travelers direct access to a popular Florida destination.
Allegiant’s Network Expansion and Business Model
Drew Wells, Allegiant’s Chief Commercial Officer, said the new route reflects the airline’s ability to adapt its flexible business model to meet travel demand. He stated, “We’re excited to announce this new route into our growing network and will continue to look for opportunities to connect travelers with the destinations they want to visit most.” Wells added that the route demonstrates Allegiant’s
capacity to provide more options during peak leisure travel periods.
CVG Airport Growth and Orlando’s Popularity
Chad Summe, Board Chair of the Kenton County Airport Board, noted Allegiant now operates nonstop service to 23 destinations from CVG. He emphasized Orlando’s consistent popularity as a travel choice for the region. Summe said, “This summer marked Allegiant’s 10 millionth customer served at CVG since it launched more than a decade ago, and the airline now serves 23 nonstop airport destinations.”
The airline has announced nonstop flights from CVG since 2025 to Gulf Shores, Alabama; Portland, Oregon; and Santa Ana, California, highlighting ongoing growth at the airport.
Travelers from
the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area will benefit from the convenience of nonstop service to Orlando starting in 2027. However, seats and dates are limited, and the $49 fare will not be available on every flight. Additional baggage fees and restrictions may apply.
