On August 13, 2026, Oceania Cruises highlighted its extended global voyages, offering travelers journeys of up to 180 days that visit more than 600 destinations worldwide. These voyages emphasize slow and immersive travel across more than 100 countries on seven continents, including Asia, the Mediterranean, and South America.

Oceania Aurelia to Debut in Late 2027 for Extended Voyages

The cruise line announced the introduction of Oceania Aurelia, named The Ultimate Explorer ship, scheduled to debut in late 2027. Designed specifically for longer journeys, the ship will feature fewer than 250 suites and staterooms, aiming to provide an intimate and luxurious environment ideal for extended travel.

Fleet Expansion with Sonata Class Ships Planned

Oceania Cruises maintains a growing

portfolio with five Sonata Class ships currently on order. Delivery of these vessels is scheduled for 2027, 2029, 2032, 2035, and 2037, underscoring the company’s long-term commitment to expanding its capacity for destination-rich itineraries.

Luxury Features Enhance Immersive Travel Experience

The cruise line offers an adults-only environment aboard its fleet, supporting a relaxed pace for longer voyages. Oceania Cruises is distinguished by a high crew-to-guest ratio and one of the highest chef-to-guest ratios at sea, ensuring personalized service and culinary quality throughout their itineraries.
