Disney Cruise Line’s new ship, Disney Believe, will commence its maiden voyage on December 18, 2027, departing from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bookings for the ship will open on October 19, 2026. The initial sailings will include four- and five-night cruises to the Bahamas and the Western Caribbean, featuring stops at Disney’s private islands Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, as well as Nassau.
Encanto Musical and Onboard Entertainment
The centerpiece of the Disney Believe’s entertainment lineup is the first-ever “Encanto” musical performed at sea. This production follows the character Mirabel on her quest to protect her family’s home
and incorporates songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda, including “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” and “Surface Pressure.” Additional stage shows include “Tangled: The Musical” and “Disney Seas the Adventure.” Adults can enjoy the Gazelle live show hub, inspired by “Zootopia,” offering nighttime performances exclusively for grown-ups. The ship also features a central gathering space called the Wishing Well, inspired by “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.”
Thematic Ship Design and Guest Experience
Guests boarding the Disney Believe will be welcomed by a Grand Hall themed around the movie “Moana,” complete with statues of Moana and her companions Pua and Heihei. The staterooms continue this thematic approach, showcasing papercut-style
artwork drawn from “Moana,” Pixar’s “Coco,” and Disney’s “The Lion King.” The ship offers a range of stateroom categories, including Concierge, Verandah, Oceanview, and Inside options.
Dining and Beverage Venues
The ship introduces a new family dining venue called Oaken’s Table, inspired by “Frozen.” Other food and beverage options include Sea Notes, a piano lounge themed after “The Little Mermaid,” Big Hero Sips and Café Kakamora, based on “Big Hero 6” and “Moana” respectively, and Skygazers, a pub designed as a magical observatory. The Inside Out: Joyful Sweets confectionary caters to guests seeking desserts. Returning favorites such as the Haunted Mansion Parlor bar, Palo
Steakhouse, Enchanté by Chef Arnaud Lallement, and The Rose lounge will also be available.
