Valor Hospitality Partners has expanded its U.S. presence to the West Coast by adding The Monsaraz, a 92-guestroom hotel in San Diego’s Point Loma neighborhood. The Monsaraz, part of the Tapestry Collection by Hilton, opened in 2021 as the first new hotel in Point Loma in over ten years. This marks Valor’s tenth U.S. hotel signing in the past month.

Under the new agreement, Valor Hospitality will take full management control of The Monsaraz, inclusive of food and beverage operations. The existing hotel staff is set to join Valor’s team. The hotel’s design reflects the Portuguese immigrant fishing heritage of
Point Loma, with its restaurant Unico serving Portuguese-inspired cuisine. Valor’s culinary and beverage brand, SAVOR by Valor, will support the food and beverage operations at the property.
