Celebrity Cruises revealed its 2028 and 2029 global deployment plan, scheduling voyages across all seven continents and introducing new ports and extended seasons worldwide. The lineup includes four Edge Series ships sailing Europe for the first time, plus routes in Alaska, Asia, Australia, South America, Antarctica, and New England, delivering diverse options for cruise guests.
Enhancements to Celebrity Beyond and New European Routes
Following a 2026 renovation, Celebrity Beyond returns to Europe with new onboard venues such as the Mediterranean restaurant Bora, Celebrity Pool Club, Orange Peel Bar & Grille, and Tacos del Sol. Its itineraries span seven- to 14-night voyages departing Southampton, covering Norway, Iceland, and Scandinavia.
A highlighted 14-night route explores multiple Icelandic ports including Reykjavik, Isafjordur, Akureyri, and Seydisfjordur, continuing through Norway’s fjords at Geiranger, Alesund, Flam, Nordfjordeid, and Bergen.
Europe Itineraries Feature Expanded Edge Series Ships and New Destinations
For the first time, four Edge Series ships will operate in Europe. Celebrity Apex offers 12-night sailings to Scandinavian cities including Oslo, Skagen, Stockholm, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Copenhagen. It also features 12-night British Isles itineraries, marking Celebrity Cruises’ inaugural visit to Galway, Ireland. Mediterranean cruises on Celebrity Xcel, Celebrity Ascent, and Celebrity Eclipse range from seven to 11 nights, visiting Italy, France, Spain, Morocco, Portugal, Greece, and Turkey. Celebrity Constellation will sail 10- and 11-night
routes to Italy and Croatia, including the first visit to Bari, Italy, since 2014. Year-round Europe sailings continue aboard Celebrity Infinity, which also reintroduces Egypt itineraries with overnight stops in Alexandria.
Alaska and North American Voyages
Three ships serve Alaska in 2028: Celebrity Edge returns for its fifth season; Celebrity Equinox sails Alaska for the first time with seven-night open-jaw voyages between Vancouver and Seward; and Celebrity Millennium offers round-trip cruises from Vancouver. Celebrity Equinox extends trips via a land-based Cruisetour visiting Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali. Additionally, Celebrity Equinox provides new round-trip Hawaii cruises from Los Angeles. On the East Coast, Celebrity Summit offers seven-night
Bermuda voyages from Cape Liberty in May 2028, including two overnight stays. Twelve-night sailings from Boston in September and October 2028 explore Canada and New England with an overnight stop in Quebec City.
Asia, Australia, New Zealand, and South Pacific Itineraries
Celebrity Edge and Celebrity Solstice deliver 23 sailings departing Sydney and Auckland, Australia and New Zealand. South Pacific itineraries on Celebrity Solstice visit Tauranga, New Zealand; Lifou in the Loyalty Islands; and Mystery Island, Vanuatu. Celebrity Solstice offers a full season in Japan from April through October 2028, including visits to Tokyo, Kyoto, and Aomori, plus participation in festivals like Golden Week and Gion Matsuri. Celebrity Millennium’s
spring and fall Asian cruises showcase Cherry Blossom, Hibiscus, and koyo seasons with more calls at Okinawa, totaling 17 visits. Winter sailings cover Southeast Asia with overnight stops in Bangkok, Phuket, Benoa (Bali), Hanoi, Hong Kong, and Penang. Notably, Celebrity Millennium will host an overnight New Year’s Eve stop in Hong Kong for 2028.
South America, Antarctica, and Seasonal Highlights
Celebrity Equinox offers 12- to 16-night itineraries covering Chile, Argentina, Patagonia, Iguazu Falls, Cape Horn, and Tierra del Fuego National Park. Guests can explore Chilean Fjords, Valparaiso, Buenos Aires, and engage with wildlife and natural landscapes, with overnight stays in Valparaiso and Buenos Aires. The deployment
includes a 16-night Antarctica New Year’s holiday cruise. Seasonal itineraries incorporate overnight port visits in Asia and Bermuda, enhancing exploration opportunities.
