United Airlines will begin weekly nonstop service between Palm Beach County and San Francisco starting November 7, 2026. The flights will operate once weekly on Saturdays, providing direct access to the San Francisco Bay Area and connections to the western United States and Pacific Northwest.
Airport Renaming and Code Change
Previously known as Palm Beach International Airport, the facility was renamed President Donald J. Trump International Airport on July 9, 2026. This marks the first U.S. airport named after a sitting president. Effective August 18, 2026, the airport’s IATA code will change from PBI to DJT in reservation systems and on boarding passes.

Through June 2026, United carried 588,124 passengers, representing a 13.45% market share. The carrier is the third-largest at the airport by passenger volume.

The airport served 8,719,484 passengers in the first half of 2026, a 1.7% increase compared to the previous period. JetBlue Airways holds the largest market share at 25.76%, followed by Delta Air Lines at 24.71%, American Airlines at 19.93%, and Southwest Airlines at 7.64%.

Several
carriers are adding or resuming flights at the airport for fall and winter 2026. United Airlines will resume flights to Washington Dulles and Houston on September 24 and to Denver on October 25. Allegiant Air resumes service to Grand Rapids on October 1 and Cincinnati on November 19. Avelo Airlines resumes Wilmington, Delaware flights on October 9. JetBlue restarts Los Angeles service on October 25. Air Canada will resume Toronto flights on October 25 and Montreal on December 2. Southwest Airlines begins Denver service on November 21. Delta also starts Los Angeles flights on November 21. Breeze Airways starts Columbus
and Atlantic City service on December 17. Porter Airlines resumes Toronto flights on December 17.

Laura Beebe, director of the Palm Beach County Department of Airports, stated, “United Airlines continues to expand travel options for our passengers, and we’re pleased to welcome new nonstop service to San Francisco.” She emphasized the enhancement of direct travel possibilities for passengers at the airport.
