United Airlines will begin daily nonstop flights between Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and San Francisco on October 25, 2026. The airline will operate Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 166 seats on this route.

Government and Program Support for New Route

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear said the flight will attract more business and travelers to Kentucky, calling it “a great investment in our state and our future.” The route was supported by the JobsOhio Air Service Restoration program, which uses public-private partnerships and revenue-guarantee incentives to help Ohio airports maintain and expand commercial air service.

The new nonstop service is intended to enhance economic development efforts and improve

access to both domestic and international markets.

Flight Operations and Traveler Benefits

United Airlines’ Boeing 737-800 aircraft on this route will have a total of 166 seats, including 16 first class seats. The service will operate daily, increasing nonstop destination options for travelers in the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area.

This addition reinforces CVG’s ongoing efforts to expand its nonstop flight offerings, improving direct connectivity for passengers traveling to and from the region.
