Royal Caribbean has announced a change to the disembarkation location for its Ovation of the Seas Alaska cruises planned for the 2026 season. Passengers who were previously scheduled to disembark at the Seward cruise terminal will now do so at the port of Whittier. This adjustment is being made in response to construction delays at the Seward terminal.

As a result of this change, travelers booked on Ovation of the Seas cruises for Alaska in 2026 should update their travel arrangements accordingly. The shift to Whittier as the disembarkation port means arriving and departing travelers will need to account for

the different logistical setup and access routes associated with this location, instead of planning around Seward.
