AmaWaterways unveiled images of two new Nile river cruise ships, AmaNubia and AmaDahlia, slated to begin service in November and September 2026 respectively. AmaNubia is a new build designed for luxury river cruising, while AmaDahlia will debut in a reimagined form. They will join the existing AmaLilia on the Nile, with a fourth vessel, AmaCleo, planned for fall 2027.
Ship Design and Features
AmaNubia accommodates 76 guests across 38 staterooms, offering an intimate setting. Its interior design is inspired by ancient Egyptian motifs, including temple-carved stone, the Nile River, and Nubian culture. The ship provides amenities consistent with AmaLilia, including wellness and fitness areas.
Dining includes locally inspired cuisine, and expert Egyptologists accompany sailings.
Itineraries and Accommodations
AmaNubia will operate the “Secrets of Egypt & the Nile” itinerary. Guests onboard AmaNubia stay at the Four Seasons Hotel Cairo at The First Residence. AmaLilia passengers use The St. Regis Cairo, while AmaDahlia guests experience The Ritz-Carlton, Cairo. Optional activities include visits to the Abu Simbel temple and High Tea at the Sofitel Legend Old Cataract Hotel in Aswan. Land extensions are also offered in Alexandria, Dubai, and Jordan.
