Bangkok will host the World Travel & Culture Expo 2026 from October 29 to 31 at IMPACT Mueang Thong Thani. The event is organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), Tourism Council of Thailand (TCT), and Guangdong Grandeur International Exhibition Group.
Industry leaders and government officials, including Mr. Pasakorn Rangsiwatanasak, participated in the launch of the expo. The event aims to enhance tourism, trade, and investment, reinforcing Thailand’s position as a key ASEAN hub for tourism, culture, sport, and entertainment.
The expo aligns with the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and China. It also supports China’s expansion
policy as China remains Thailand’s largest international visitor market. Thailand expects more than 5.13 million Chinese tourists in 2026, underlining the strategic significance of the event.
Expo Features and Themes
The World Travel & Culture Expo will display specialized exhibitions that include amusement parks, billiards, and film technology sectors. It will also host a panel discussion on future tourism trends covering sustainability, safety, and immersive technologies. TAT Governor Ms. Thapanee Kiatphaibool emphasized the expo’s focus on sustainable tourism based on quality experiences and strategic partnerships.
Market Impact and Previous Success
The 2025 edition of the expo successfully connected global brands and facilitated business negotiations. WTCE 2026 aims to build
upon this success by expanding tourism and business opportunities between Thailand and global markets. The expo is expected to support Thailand’s role as a gateway linking the ASEAN region with worldwide tourism and cultural industries.
