ITB Americas 2026 is scheduled to take place from 10 to 12 November 2026 in Guadalajara, Mexico, with 70% of its exhibition space already booked. The inaugural event has drawn confirmed buyers from more than 30 countries representing all five continents.
Hosted Buyer Program Focuses on Business Opportunities
The ITB Americas 2026 Hosted Buyer Program, held recently in New York, brought together senior decision-makers with purchasing profiles aligned to exhibitor objectives. The program features buyers including outbound travel agencies, tour operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), incentive travel agencies, travel advisors, international corporate travel managers, group travel organizers, FIT specialists, adventure travel organizers, and luxury travel specialists.
Vicente
Salas Hesselbach, Vice President & Managing Director Americas at Messe Berlin, stated, “The response to our Hosted Buyer Program confirms that the industry is looking for a Pan-American business platform focused on meaningful connections and measurable business opportunities.” He added, “We are bringing together highly qualified buyers whose profiles closely align with the commercial objectives of our exhibitors, creating valuable business opportunities from the very first edition of ITB Americas.”
Premier Buyer Network Expands International Buyer Reach
The program is supported by the Premier Buyer Network, a partnership connecting ITB Americas with high-quality buyers through organizations such as CATO (Canadian Association of Tour Operators), ATTA (Adventure Travel
Trade Association), ASTA NY Metro Chapter, IGLTA, Expo Mayoristas, SITE Mexico, Evintra, AMDEMAC, ASTA Suncoast Metro Chapter, and GETLATAM. This network enhances the event’s international buyer representation and broadens access across various travel sectors.
Conference to Address Key Industry Themes
The ITB Americas Conference will take place alongside the exhibition offering over 40 sessions across six tracks and two stages. Topics include artificial intelligence, distribution, destination competitiveness, aviation, sustainability, hospitality, luxury travel, and emerging technologies, providing a platform for industry leaders, innovators, and policymakers to engage.
Event Attendance and Industry Positioning
The inaugural ITB Americas is expected to attract more than 5,000 travel professionals globally. Approximately 80% of attendees will be
from the Americas region, with the remainder representing international markets. The event aims to serve as the first Pan-American B2B travel marketplace, connecting the Americas with global travel industries through its exhibition, Hosted Buyer Program, Premier Buyer Network, and Conference.
