The U.S. Coast Guard, through a boat crew from Coast Guard Station Lake Worth Inlet, responded to the emergency approximately 3 miles off Lake Worth Inlet, Florida. Sector Miami watchstanders received the medical evacuation request from the cruise ship before dispatching rescue personnel.
