Tanzania offers a diverse range of tourism attractions including world-renowned national parks, rich cultural heritage, and historical sites. The government has set a target to attract eight million international tourists by the year 2030. Dr
Kijaji highlighted the potential benefit of strategic promotion around these attractions to increase tourist arrivals and contribute to this goal.
Increased Coordination During UNESCO World Heritage Committee
Dr Kijaji is attending the 48th Session of the UNESCO World Heritage Committee held in Busan, South Korea, from July 19 to July 29, 2026. Meanwhile, Ambassador Noel Kaganda committed to collaborating closely with the Tanzania Tourist Board (TTB) to develop effective strategies aimed at promoting Tanzania’s tourism offerings in South Korea.
