Southwest Airlines announced on July 16, 2026, plans to introduce 19 new flight routes starting in spring 2027. This expansion will increase the airline’s domestic network with new nonstop options available to travelers.
New routes and additional flights will be added from Southwest’s focus cities in Austin, Texas, and Orlando, Florida. These services are scheduled for launch in March 2027 as part of Southwest’s spring 2027 flying schedule. Southwest also plans to increase flights on certain existing routes during this period.
