ITB Berlin launched a new campaign named “Travel & Tourism in Motion” ahead of its 2027 event in Berlin from 16 to 18 March. The campaign highlights tourism as an industry constantly evolving due to changing travel habits, innovative mobility solutions, and new technological, economic, and social conditions shaping global tourism.
The campaign was developed in partnership with Rupp, an international PR and communications agency. A new key visual, created at ITB Berlin 2026 using actual exhibitors and visitors, embodies the event’s dynamic and diverse nature. Each exhibition segment at ITB Berlin 2027 will feature its own key visual paired
with the tagline “in Motion.”
Companies and destinations can register to exhibit at ITB Berlin 2027, with early registration offering attractive terms and prime stand locations. The event dates shifted to 16 to 18 March 2027 to accommodate intercultural aspects, enabling Muslim exhibitors and visitors to celebrate Eid al-Fitr during Ramadan and still participate fully in all event days.
ITB Berlin 2026 took place from 3 to 5 March as a B2B event and featured 5,601 exhibitors from 166 countries and territories. It attracted 96,544 visitors. The ITB Berlin Convention 2026 hosted 400 speakers and had over 24,000 visitors across
its sessions. ITB 360° offers a year-round global innovation hub with ongoing insights for the worldwide tourism community.
Deborah Rothe, Director of ITB Berlin, stated, “Tourism is much more than just travel. It is a driver of economic development, innovation and international networking. The industry is always in motion, and it is precisely this dynamism that ITB Berlin brings to the fore. It is where key players come together to forge new ideas, analyse global trends and help shape the future of travel.” ITB Berlin has been known as the World’s Leading Travel Trade Show since 1966, serving as a
