Key European airports including Milan Malpensa, Rome Fiumicino, Barcelona El Prat, and Lisbon Humberto Delgado faced significant operational challenges. Airlines such as Air France, ITA Airways, and Wizz Air Malta were among those impacted by the cancellations and postponements, leading to considerable schedule adjustments.
