On July 1, 2026, Amsterdam Schiphol Airport experienced extensive operational disruptions, resulting in 313 flight delays and 27 cancellations. These disruptions affected numerous routes and airlines operating from one of Europe’s major air transport hubs.
As a consequence, thousands of passengers were left stranded across Europe, encountering significant travel difficulties due to the large volume of delayed and cancelled flights. This disruption has added further strain on airport logistics and highlighted continuing operational challenges at Schiphol.
