The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) instituted ground stops at numerous major airports across the United States and Canada on June 24, 2026. This measure impacted key air travel hubs in both countries, temporarily halting departures and arrivals.

As a result of the ground stops, thousands of flights were either canceled or delayed throughout the day. These disruptions affected a significant number of passengers and operations across multiple carriers at the major airports involved.
