In the first quarter of 2026, Zimbabwe experienced an 11 percent increase in the number of tourists arriving in the country. This growth marks a notable rise compared to previous periods and contributes positively to the nation’s tourism performance.
Visitor numbers saw significant contributions from several international regions. Key among these were China and Hong Kong, which led the increases in arrivals. Additionally, there were substantial gains from visitors originating in Europe and African countries, collectively supporting the tourism sector’s upward trend.
