Indian authorities have presented the first official image of a new bullet train as part of their ongoing high-speed rail project connecting Delhi and Siliguri. This unveiling marks a visible step forward in the development of India’s railway modernization efforts.

Reduced Travel Time and Route Details

The high-speed rail corridor linking Delhi with Siliguri is expected to shorten journey times significantly, cutting travel time to approximately six hours. The route will serve several important cities along the way, including Haridwar and Dehradun, improving rail transport connections in the region.

Once completed, this project aims to offer a faster alternative for travelers along this key northern Indian

corridor, enhancing rail services and connectivity across the cities on the route.
