The Indian government has revealed plans for a high-speed rail service connecting the capital Delhi with Siliguri. This new bullet train route intends to significantly shorten the journey between these locations.

The planned bullet train will include stops at several key cities along the way, specifically Lucknow, Varanasi, and Patna. This corridor aims to cut down the travel duration to approximately six hours, representing a substantial reduction compared to current travel times.
