Significant operational disruptions have impacted European air travel in early June 2026, resulting in thousands of flights being delayed and a considerable number cancelled. Current reports indicate that across the continent, more than 2,600 flights have experienced delays while in excess of 140 flights were cancelled during this period.

These disruptions have affected several major airports including those in London, Frankfurt, Paris, Zurich, and Brussels. Prominent European carriers such as British Airways, KLM, and Air France have seen their operations disrupted as a result. Passengers traveling through these hubs are likely facing considerable delays and cancellations.
