On June 3, 2026, significant disruptions impacted air travel across several prominent US states, with 134 flights grounded and an additional 498 flights experiencing operational interruptions. This widespread disturbance created considerable challenges for flight operations at multiple airports.

Airlines including American Airlines, Delta, United Airlines, and JetBlue were among those affected by the disruptions, which spanned Texas, Florida, California, and New York. The extensive nature of these operational setbacks resulted in thousands of travelers confronting prolonged delays and cancellations.

These interruptions led to substantial adjustments for impacted passengers, many of whom faced extended waiting times and needed to modify their

travel plans accordingly. Airport activity was notably affected in areas where these major carriers operate significant routes.
