Severe Tropical Storm Jangmi has caused extensive disruptions to air travel in Japan, resulting in the cancellation of more than 1,400 flights and delays affecting over 800 flights. The impact has been felt across multiple airports nationwide, significantly affecting passenger movements and airline operations.

Major carriers including Japan Airlines and ANA Wings have been forced to cancel numerous flights as the storm affected key airports such as Tokyo’s Haneda and Narita airports, Osaka Airport, Okinawa Airport, as well as Fukuoka, Kagoshima, and Miyazaki airports. In addition, Vietnamese airlines Vietnam Airlines and Vietjet Air suspended flights on the Hanoi to Tokyo

route, reflecting the broad regional impact of the storm on scheduled air services.
