Five American passengers who were in quarantine in Nebraska due to potential exposure to hantavirus on a cruise ship have been discharged from the facility and have traveled back to their respective home states. Their release followed a period of observation under quarantine protocols designed to monitor possible health effects.
Meanwhile, thirteen additional cruise ship passengers remain in quarantine at the Nebraska facility. These individuals continue to undergo health monitoring as authorities assess any further risks related to the suspected hantavirus exposure.
