Flight operations at major airports in Tokyo and Osaka experienced significant disruptions as Typhoon Jangmi affected the region. A large number of flights were cancelled in both cities in response to the approaching typhoon, impacting air traffic schedules substantially.
More than 60,000 passengers were reported to have been affected by these cancellations, highlighting the extensive scale of travel interruptions. The disruptions extend across key air travel routes in East Asia where Japan is a central hub.
