The World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC) projects that the tourism GDP in Central and South America will expand by approximately 4.1% in 2026. This predicted increase reflects a notably strong upward trend in the region’s travel and tourism sector.
According to the WTTC forecast, this growth rate is expected to surpass global averages for tourism GDP growth, signalling a more vigorous recovery and development in Central and South America’s tourism economy relative to the worldwide market.
