Seoul attracted in excess of 1.5 million foreign tourists in April 2026, marking a notable increase in international arrivals to South Korea’s capital during that month.
Compared to previous data, the number of visitors rose by approximately 18.8 percent. Alongside this, tourist expenditure in Seoul experienced a substantial jump, rising by about 50 percent in the same period, indicating robust growth in visitor spending.
These developments reflect ongoing strength in inbound tourism to Seoul, as both arrival figures and spending patterns suggest a significant rebound in travel activity.
