Colombia has recently introduced a significant airport tourism promotion across Mexico aimed at leveraging the anticipated influx of visitors for the FIFA World Cup 2026. This new initiative forms part of the country’s efforts to attract international football fans during the tournament period.
Specifically, the campaign is underway at several major Mexican airports, including those in Cancun, Monterrey, Guadalajara, and Mexico City. These locations were selected for their strategic importance and high passenger volumes, positioning Colombia to engage travelers en route to the tournament.
