The European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) has expanded its entry requirements to include travelers arriving in Europe by ferry and cruise ships. This update means that sea passengers must comply with ETIAS regulations alongside other travelers entering the continent.

It is now mandatory for all cruise and ferry passengers sailing to European destinations to secure ETIAS authorization before embarking. Failure to obtain this authorization in advance may result in denied entry or travel delays upon arrival.
