A signal failure near Miaoli station caused notable interruptions on Taiwan High Speed Rail services, affecting routes that connect Taipei, Taichung, and Kaohsiung. This disruption led to cancellations and sizable delays, impacting passengers travelling along these key corridors.
Following repair efforts, the high-speed rail operator restored full service, allowing trains to resume scheduled operations. The resolution of the issue has enabled passengers to return to normal travel across the affected routes.
