The flight interruptions were reported at Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth airports, where the majority of affected QantasLink and Virgin Australia services were scheduled. Each of these airports experienced operational challenges throughout the day due to the disruptions.
As a result, hundreds of passengers faced inconvenience with delayed departures and cancelled flights, causing extended wait times and complications for travellers departing from or arriving at these key Australian hubs.
