
Vienna International Airport Faces Extensive Flight Delays and Cancellations
Vienna International Airport encountered considerable operational challenges on June 25, 2026, with more than one hundred flights delayed and several cancelled. Specifically, 117 flights experienced delays while six flights were cancelled, causing disruptions for travelers departing on that day.
These disruptions affected multiple carriers operating from the airport, including Eurowings, Finnair, Lauda Europe, and Austrian Airlines. Passengers traveling from Vienna to several major German cities such as Berlin, Stuttgart, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Munich were impacted by these delays and cancellations.
