A US court has lifted the suspension on immigrant visas that affected citizens of 75 countries, including India, reinstating the visa issuance process. The suspension had been implemented during the Trump administration.
Indian nationals and travelers from the other affected countries can now proceed with scheduling and attending immigrant visa appointments. The court ruling allows the resumption of visa processing that was previously halted.
