Türkiye is preparing to reinforce its standing in the global meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions (MICE) sector by hosting two prominent international events in 2026. The Antalya region will host COP31, a globally recognized conference focused on climate change. In the same year, Ankara is scheduled to be the venue for the NATO Summit, marking another significant occasion on the country’s calendar.
Alongside these high-profile meetings, Istanbul continues to see growth in congress activities, contributing to a wider increase in business travel throughout the country. Collectively, these developments are fostering a rise in higher-value visits linked to corporate and diplomatic
events.
