Tsingshan’s Zimbabwe steel unit has entered into a partnership with the Zimbabwe state railway company to improve rail haulage capacity for steel transport. The collaboration aims to support the movement of increased steel production within Zimbabwe.

The partnership was officially announced on October 5, 2026. It focuses on enhancing the rail infrastructure and haulage capability to handle greater volumes of steel freight across the country.
