The Knox, Auberge Collection, a luxury hotel and residential development, officially opened in Dallas’s Knox Street neighborhood in October 2026. The property was developed through a partnership including BDT & MSD Partners, Trammell Crow Company, Owners of Highland Park Village, and The Retail Connection. The hotel serves as the hospitality anchor for the larger commercial and residential redevelopment of the Knox Street area.

Property Details and Reservations

The Knox features 140 guest rooms and suites along with 48 private residences. Guests can make reservations for stays beginning January 29, 2027, with overnight rates starting at $1,000. The property is situated adjacent to the Katy

Trail, a 3.5-mile recreational corridor offering direct access to walking and biking paths in central Dallas.

Design and Accommodations

Public interiors and guest accommodations were designed by Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, while private residences were the work of Chad Dorsey Design. The accommodations include marble bathrooms and curated artwork. Suites have separate living and dining areas. The largest suite, known as The Manse, features a private fitness space, wellness room, bar, and media room. The Promenade Suite includes a 2,100-square-foot terrace with private dining and lounge facilities. Two- and three-bedroom apartments, named Abbott House, Hester House, and Hyland House, are available for longer

stays.

Amenities and Event Spaces

The Knox offers four distinct dining venues: an American restaurant, an indoor-outdoor salon, an evening cocktail lounge, and a poolside dining area with views of the Dallas skyline. The property also hosts a Well-being by Auberge facility that provides skin therapies, thermal baths, and recovery treatments. Event spaces are located on the second and third floors, including the Colonnade Room ballroom with floor-to-ceiling windows and a wrap-around terrace, The Gallery pre-function area, Knox Parlour Rooms, and the Trophy Room private dining area.

Statements from Leadership

Rick Fidel, regional vice president and general manager of The Knox, said, “We are delighted to begin

welcoming guests to The Knox, Auberge Collection and introduce a new expression of luxury hospitality to Dallas.” He described the hotel as a gathering place combining dining, wellness, design, and hospitality, aiming to integrate with the Knox Street neighborhood.

Christian Clerc, president and CEO of Auberge Collection, described The Knox as an expansion into major metropolitan markets, stating it “marks an exciting new chapter in Auberge Collection’s growth as we bring our distinctive approach to hospitality to the world’s most dynamic cities.” Clerc emphasized that the hotel celebrates Dallas’s distinctive character while offering a deeply personal experience.

Sabrina Gleizer from

development partner BDT & MSD Partners said, “From the beginning, our vision for The Knox was to create a place that feels distinctly Dallas and becomes a meaningful part of the Knox Street neighborhood.” She praised Auberge’s partnership for delivering thoughtful design and personal hospitality.

Auberge Collection Expansion

The Knox is part of Auberge Collection’s broader growth strategy in key urban markets. The company plans to open Cambridge House in London’s Mayfair neighborhood in 2027 as part of its international expansion.
